EMAIL FROM FRIEND

Sarj:

I tried to leave a comment and it kept asking me for a "profile." I was unable to leave my comment, but here it is below:

I titled it, "November 2010 Election Ammo":

CAMPAIGN PROMISES:
"I will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days."

"No political appointees in an Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years. And no political appointee will be able to lobby the executive branch after leaving government service during the remainder of the administration."

"I'm going to have all the [Healthcare Reform Bill] negotiations around a big table. We'll have doctors and nurses and hospital administrators. Insurance companies, drug companies -- they'll get a seat at the table, they just won't be able to buy every chair. But what we will do is, we'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies. And so, that approach, I think is what is going to allow people to stay involved in this process."

“The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the Executive Branch and not go through Congress at all. And that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States.” (He who appointed 38 unconfirmed-by-Congress and openly socialist and communist czars to his White House staff)

Barack Hussein Obama, 7/22/09: “Cambridge Police acted stupidly.” (Commenting on run-in between Harvard professor and police)

Barack Hussein Obama, 9/9/09: “I will not sign it [the Healthcare Reform Bill] if it adds one dime to the deficit now or in the future -- period. The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.” (Address to Congress)

Janet Napolitano, 12/27/09: “The system worked.” (Referring to the Christmas would-be underwear bomber)

Nancy Pelosi, 1/5/10: “There has never been a more open process.” (Referring to the legislative process of the Healthcare Reform Bill)

FIRST PRESIDENT:
(in 110 years) to miss the annual Army-Navy football game
not to attend any Christmas religious observance
not to host a National Prayer Breakfast
to declare a National Muslim Day of Prayer
not to attend the National Law Enforcement Memorial Service
to stay on vacation after a terrorist attack
to allow Attorney General [Eric Holder] to initiate investigation into former Presidency
to bow to leaders of other nations
not to stay in Washington for Christmas for the last 20 years. (Past Presidents did not leave Washington for Christmas vacation until after Christmas.
This was done so that their staff [Secret Service, Air Force One Crew, Limousine transport, Presidential advancing logistics etc.] could be home with their families for Christmas.)

ALSO:
· deferred [for three months] General McChrystal’s request for additional Afghan troops
· refuses to call it “War on Terror” (“Overseas Human Contingency”)
· allows terrorists to be treated as criminals instead of enemy combatants
· moved terrorist criminal trials from Guantanamo Bay to New York City
· closed Guantanamo Bay Terrorist Interment Center, moved prisoners to Illinois
allowed Attorney General to pursue criminal charges against CIA agents who “mistreated” terrorists at Guantanamo Bay

My best to you and yours. Happy New Year,
Rich May
