I see a real danger here where labor unions are involved in politics so deeply as to be an arm of the democratic party. There tactics have not change and will never change and are the basics of revolution by intimidation and violence.
How will we ever keep them in check?

I haven't written for quite a while and I don't know if anyone even follows this blog, but when something bothers me so much as this item does I have to vent.
If you don't find this kind of labor union involvement in political and social issue scary then maybe you should stop and pay attention more.

This is what mobster controlled unions used to pull years ago when they were strong. Now that most government employees are unionized, and there are more government employees on the payroll every day, we can expect to see a lot more of this stuff...with the blessing of Rahm Emanuel and of course The Current Occupant himself.
