SO YOU DON'T LIKE UNIONS?

I was a Union member and it served me well. Some industries need unions some don't. There was a lot of people out there that said they hated unions and unions were bad but those people voted for Obama.

Now they really see what a union is all about. The president and the board know what is best for you. They know how to spend your money wisely. They know how to invest your money. They will protect you from all the evils out there.

Unions are and always will be power hungry because that is their strength They need power to influence and control. They are socialistic and authoritarian. They don't have a balance like our Congress should have. They don't have division of power like our government should have. By the way don't you see how the division and balance are changing? Isn't Congress suppose to legislate? Who really wrote the Health Care Bill.? Obama?

Watch carefully what is happening. Obama and his people are at heart organizers and that is the base of Unionism.

Unions can be good if kept in check, but like unions the government also has to be kept in check so it does not operate like a union and we lose our voice and our traditions and our freedoms.

Everyone knows that as a union member you give up your right to freedom of choice, freedom to negotiate for your self. You are no longer and individual.

Why work hard and try to improve yourself? The Gov or Union will treat you the same as everyone else.

So just how can you advance? You will have to be a union (party) member. You will have to advance through the ranks of the party (union), Become a loyal member, serve on boards and organizing committees, speak the message everywhere. Work your way up the ranks to improve you pay and power.

Is it a conscience that all the jobs being created are government jobs? Think about this and if you decide that things are out of control then you MUST do something to change things. We have to change the balance of power to remain free and independent.

So you don't like unions? Guess what as a citizen today you are becoming one like it or not!

What I have feared about American voters has come true. How do we stand a chance of saving this country if this is (maybe?) the popular thinking out there? This woman is living in one of the most expensive areas of the country.

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE ENERGY ISSUE?

Yesterday I had a thought....what ever happened to the Energy Issue? Looking back at the last election it was one of the top 5 issues and everyone was hot to fix our dependence on foreign oil.

I guess the price of gasoline and the availability is one of those topics like the Weather. Weather "Everyone likes to talk about it but no one does anything about it. Right? Isn't it surprising to you how often this issue comes up and then after prices drop and there seems to be no problem with supply the subject goes away again.

I guarantee that the next election it will be a hot topic again. Has anything ever been done?

I think that this administrations "Shock and Awe: tactics are to take our mind off things that we thought were important and confuse us with 2000 page legislation on things that will not get into law. I think that gov especially should practice the principle of "KISS" (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID)

BUY AMERICAN

Have you noticed that Ford sales are up? I would like to think that Americans are buying Fords as a backlash to the bailouts. I know that I believe that Ford Motor Co. should be rewarded for running their business properly and I for one will buy only from Ford if and when I need another car.

I listened to last night “State of the Union” address by President Obama and was surprised at his arrogance and how much nerve he had to even scold the Supreme Court. He rubbed Republicans nose in some items that they had no chance of defending. I have never seen a politician so undiplomaticto Congress as a whole. This is a dangerous man saying that it will be his way because he and he alone knows what is right for the county. He is a leader such as Labor Unions have that despite what the members want they will negotiate for them and save their money for them etc.

How can he say he wants to work with the other side and at the same time try to shame them. I have never heard of this tactic leading to anything except more division. Maybe that’s what he wants for some strange reason. I guess if there is more division and opposition to his programs he could then say it was their fault that nothing got done. You know that he is calculating and I hope that this time it back fires on him and the his party.

The one thing that bothers me the most is how he scolded the Supreme Court, this is just unheard of and reveals just how dangers this man is.

BUYER BEWARE !

Yes I got sucked in again by a TV ad for a rechargeable sweeper vac. It is called the Swivel Sweeper and it really looks like a good product but. First of all before you can confirm your order they offer all kinds of items like replacement parts etc. When you finally confirm they do not tell you that they will charge shipping on both sweepers which is how the whole thing comes about...two sweepers for the price of one.

Right after I confirmed I got afraid that this company and the way they do business was going to cause me trouble including selling my name to other direct sales outfits. Anyway I called to cancel the order within minutes and they said you have to wait 48 hrs for records to become available. I didn't want to wait so in less than 24 hours I called and they said it had already shipped. I asked for a supervisor and they put me on hold...twice....OK! I get it there are no supervisors. Another call and they said they only way to cancel was to refuse delivery. Lucky for me I caught the mail man not at my door but I ran down the street to his truck and had him take it back.

Well I am still waiting for my credit on back card. Let's see how long that takes. The product may be good but my principles will not let me do business with such bad people as these. There was a day when the gov shut down these people but not anymore. Now you can say and claim anything and do business in any way you want and no one cares. So beware!

Oh by the way if the car insurance ads were all correct. I would save at least $350 on my insurance which means if I kept changing pretty soon they would have to pay me. Has anyone ever saved that much by switching? ???

THIS LITTLE STORY EXPLAINS HOW THE GOV WORKS IN CASE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT FINANCIAL PROCESSES.

Slow day in a little East Texas town. (Think this through...)

The sun is beating down, and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit.....

On this particular day a rich tourist from back east is driving through town. He stops at the motel and lays a $100 bill on the desk saying he wants to inspect all of his rooms upstairs in order to pick one away from the street to spend the night..

As soon as the man walks upstairs, the hotel owner--having done this before--knows what to do. He grabs the bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.

The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to retire his debt to the pig farmer.

The pig farmer takes the $100 and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of feed and fuel.

The guy at the Farmer's Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit.

The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner.

The hotel proprietor then places the $100 back on the counter so the rich traveler will not suspect anything.

At that moment the traveler comes down the stairs,picks up the $100 bill, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the money, and leaves town.

What happened?

Other than wasting precious life energy and time, running around in a circle, no one produced anything. No one actually earned anything. However, the whole town is now out of debt and now looks to the future with a lot more hope and optimism..

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is conducting business.
